The Adaptation Consortium and the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration on conflict-sensitive adaptation governance.

The MoU, signed at NCIC’s HQ led by Dr. Daniel Mutegi Giti, PhD, CEO NCIC and Mr. Kennedy Ododa, ADA Consortium Coordinator, marks a strategic partnership to build synergy between climate change adaptation, peacebuilding & social cohesion frameworks and strengthen governance of the County Climate Change Fund (CCCF) mechanism by embedding conflict sensitivity into climate action planning processes to ensure that adaptation efforts are inclusive and sustainable.
